A character-rich renovation where warm walnut, deep tones and original architectural details meet contemporary design.

Set within a home rich in original character, The Moody Modern balances old and new through a warm, grounded material palette. Existing wood floors and exposed beams bring history and texture, while streamlined walnut millwork, charcoal cabinetry and dark architectural elements introduce a distinctly contemporary edge.

Throughout the home, saturated colour is used with confidence. Deep blue-green envelops the bedroom, while mustard, rust and warm leather accents add moments of energy against the darker palette. Integrated storage, custom millwork and carefully considered lighting bring function to every space without stripping away the personality of the original home.

The result is layered, warm and unapologetically individual—a modern home that embraces character rather than erasing it.
